Title I Parent Center
The Title I Program has a parent involvement partnership at Mary McLeod Bethune Middle School. Parent involvement is crucial because it helps our children perform better in school. To enhance our partnership with the parents at our school, a Title I Parent Center has been created (also known as the Lion’s Den Parent Center). It is a place where parents , grandparents, and other family members can feel welcome with internet access on computers, check out materials for working with their children, and gain advice or ideas to help their children with their school work.

Parent Guide: What is the Lexile Framework?

In sharing information with parents and families, it is best practices to review and understand the website, flyer, brochure or topic yourself before distribution.  In the schoolhouse, ask questions of your teacher leaders and Instructional AP about using the educational resources and how to best serve parent and families with it.  Build your capacity while supporting parents and families in student achievement.
