2024 Georgia Milestones Letter
Parents, 
Georgia law, as amended by the A+ Education Reform Act of 2000, requires that all students in Grades 3-8 take the Georgia Milestones: End of Grade (EOG) in the content areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics. In addition, students in grade 8 will take Science and Social Studies. To view the full letter in its entirety, please click HERE.
2024 Georgia Milestone schedule
  1. Limit evening activities prior to testing so that adequate time is provided for rest.
  2. Discuss the importance of testing with your son/daughter.
  3. Provide two #2 pencils daily.
  4. Provide a nutritious breakfast.
  5. Ensure your child is present and on time each morning. If possible, please avoid scheduling doctor/dentist appointments during the testing period.
  6. If an issue arises that may impact your child's performance, please contact a school counselor.
Tech Cafe
 The Instructional Technology Department will host the March Parent Tech Café on Tuesday, March 19th, at 6:00 p.m.  The topic for this virtual session is the Test Taking Tips for Online Assessments.

Parent Teacher Conference Night
Our next Parent/Teacher Conference Night will be held Thursday, March 28th from 5pm-7pm. The last day to sign up is Tuesday, March 26th by 4pm.
